INTRODUCTION TO PICTURE FILE FORMATS USED IN WEB DESIGN

The Web is a frightful place for colors

I was operative on a site a couple of weeks ago and had come up with a pattern that I suspicion the owners would similar to – it used all the greens that they preferred, but wasn’t overwhelmingly green.

I should contend it wasn’t overwhelmingly green “on my monitor”. The credentials was a dim green, roughly black, the title was a timberland green, and the navigation had a dark green background. Okay, as I write it it sounds overwhelmingly green, but it unequivocally wasn’t (on my monitor). But when I went to view the site on their computer, it was insane. I similar to the color green, but it was funny – the credentials was timberland green, the title was splendid green, and the sidebar was roughly neon. So I went behind to the pattern to tinge it down. The complaint was that whilst it looked good on my guard (which I’d calibrated to be loyal to imitation tones), on other (non-calibrated) monitors it was scary, similar to I’d exploded a clover vegetable patch on the screen. Not what we were going for.
